Euro. Lit. and Phil.--Seniors will be starting the final exam on Friday, May 19th. This will include the French Unit, a small bit of the Italian. Unit, and a final essay. You will be able to continue the final exam on Tuesday, 5/23, at which time the exam must be uploaded to Turnitin.com.
Leading up to the final, we have been studying the thinking and writings of Niccolo Machiavelli. There will be a small section of the exam that asks you to interpret what it means to be Machiavellian. By now, you should have read "Federigo's Falcon" and "Patient Griselda" by Boccaccio (in your Italian Lit. book). Both of these stories are certainly "Machiavellian." Try to figure out why...
