Am. Lit.-- Continue reading The Great Gatsby per the reading schedule posted earlier. Use study guide questions to guide your thinking as you read over break. No need to do the vocabulary on the study guides unless you want to; instead, focus on the vocabulary study sheet I handed out in class today. I will post the list for those who were not in class today. Have a restful, safe, and fun vacation!
Lit. Comp. 1--We are likely to have a quiz on Mockingbird tomorrow based off of the chapter summaries we went over in class today. There may be a few other questions as well to check if you have been reading, but most of the questions will come from your work on the chapters. We will also have our Week 8 CCW quiz tomorrow (Wed.). Check the reading schedule that was posted earlier for some reading over break. It's not much, but it is important reading as we will be getting into Part 2 of the novel; these early chapters of Part 2 set the stage for the court case that is coming up. Have a restful, safe, and fun vacation!
